Taxation Estimator

Taxation Estimator

Our Taxation Estimator is designed to give residents and property owners a quick and convenient way to estimate their annual property taxes.

By entering a few key details such as your property assessment value and with the applicable tax rates entered into the Taxation Estimator, you can get an instant estimate of your municipal taxes. This tool is intended to help you better understand how your taxes are calculated and assist with financial planning.

How It Works

Property taxes are calculated based on:

  • Assessed Property Value – Determined through your annual property assessment
  • Municipal Tax Rate – Set annually by Council
  • Additional Levies – Including education taxes and Seniors Foundation

Simply input your property assessment into the estimator, and it will provide an estimated breakdown of your taxes.

Important Notes

  • This estimator provides estimates only and should be used for general planning purposes.
  • Actual tax amounts may vary based on final approved rates, property classification, and any applicable exemptions or adjustments.
