Taxation Estimator
Our Taxation Estimator is designed to give residents and property owners a quick and convenient way to estimate their annual property taxes.
By entering your property’s assessed value into the Taxation Estimator, you can receive an instant estimate of your municipal taxes. This tool is designed to help you understand how your taxes are calculated and supports your financial planning.
How It Works
Property taxes are calculated based on:
- Assessed Property Value – Determined by a provincially accredited independent assessor.
- Municipal Tax Rate – Set annually by Council.
- Additional Levies – Including provincial education taxes and seniors foundation
Simply input your property assessment into the estimator, and it will provide an estimated breakdown of your municipal taxes.
Important Notes
- This estimator provides estimates only and should be used for general planning purposes.
- Actual tax amounts may vary based on final approved rates, property classification, and any applicable exemptions or adjustments.
