How to pay your bill

Starting in January 2016

Starting in January we can email your Utility Bill.  Please take the time and fill out an E-Bill Agreement , return it to us and watch your email for your next utility statement. Please return to the Town Administration Office before the next billing date to avoid a $2.00 Paper Bill fee being applied to your account.

Forms of payment

You can pay your utility bill at the Town Administration Office located at 1005 Ross Street (in the United Church building).

Office hours are 9:00a.m. - 4:30p.m. Monday through Friday. 

The Town of Crossfield accepts the following:

  • Cash
  • Cheque
  • Interac
  • Visa*
  • MasterCard*

*Please note that a service charge may be added to any payments made by credit cards effective May 1, 2015.


Front Door Mail Slot

Utility bill payments may be dropped after hours in the drop box located just outside the front doors of the Town Administration Office.


By Mail

Send a cheque or money order payable to the Town of Crossfield and allow enough time for the payment to reach the Town Office by the due date.  Record your account number on the cheque or enclose the bottom portion of the bill. Postdated cheques are accepted.  Please note that any payments that are returned may be subject to a $36.00 service charge.

Preauthorized Payment

Payments can be directly debited from your account on the due date of the bill. A void cheque or bank memo from your current bank account will be required, you will also need to fill out a preauthorized utility form and forward the form to the Town of Administration Office for processing.  Any payments returned are subject to a $37.00 service charge.
