8 July 2020 ( Crossfield, Alta. ) – A by-election to fill two vacant seats on Crossfield Town council has been called for Oct. 19, 2020. Council approved the date for the by-election at its July 7 regular meeting.
The by-election follows the resignation of two councillors June 22. Former Deputy Mayor Liz Grace and former Councillor Beth Gabriel tendered their resignations at a special meeting, which were regretfully accepted by the remainder of council.
