Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Program - Saskatchewan Street

Posted on Wednesday October 17, 2018

Professional Excavators will be revisiting Saskatchewan St to complete concrete work, and top lift paving starting at 12pm on October 17, 2018. Throughout the construction of this project, Saskatchewan Street and Limit ave intersection will be closed from October 17, 2018 until October 23, 2018 and in both directions from Mountain ave to Limit ave from October 21, 2018 to October 23, 2018. There will be limited access to local residents only during the closure.

These timelines may extend due to unforeseen circumstances or emergency situations out of our control.

Hours of work are expected to be from 7:00am – 5:00pm, however the road will remain closed outside of work hours until the project is completed.  In an effort to ensure we stay on schedule, crews may be required to work additional hours to complete the project.

Parking and residential access for residents of Saskatchewan Street will be restricted to local traffic only but no through traffic.  Alternate access and parking will be via laneways and adjacent streets.  We ask that all vehicles be removed from Saskatchewan Street between Limit Avenue and Mountain Avenue before 7:00am on October 21, 2018.

Due to the nature of the work being completed, there may also be interruptions in services throughout the construction of this project.  It is also expected that there be vibration during the course of the project.  There are no anticipated long term interruptions to services but in the event that there will be an interruption, residents will be notified by crews onsite.  We also ask that residents refrain from heavy water use during hours of work to ensure our crews are able to complete the work as efficiently as possible.

If you have any questions or concerns throughout the construction and road closure you can contact the Town of Crossfield Mustapha Hashimi 403-629-6045.  Professional Excavators Operations Manager may also be contacted for concerns relating to the project; Scott Nyrose 403-512-2925

Thank you for your cooperation during the above improvements.
