Planning Processes

 The Town of Crossfield has been conducting two complementary planning processes to prepare:

·         a Municipal Development Plan (MDP) for the entire town, including the lands recently annexed to Crossfield and

·         an Area Redevelopment Plan (ARP) for the downtown and major entrances to Crossfield.

Both the proposed MDP and ARP are based upon the significant citizen engagement, long-range visioning, and policy development that the community undertook in 2009 for the Crossfield Sustainability Plan. These two new Town plans will move Crossfield closer to realizing our goal of creating a truly sustainable community.
