Pete Knight Memorial Center


Pete Knight Memorial Center - Photo by Moments by Marlene PhotograhpyThe Pete Knight Arena is home to the Crossfield Minor Hockey Association (www.crossfieldmha.com), the Crossfield Figure Skating Club, as well as numerous men's and ladies teams. The arena also hosts lacrosse during the spring and a Farmer's Market every Thursday night beginning in May and ending in September. A loft and a meeting room are also available for rent.

Crossfield Curling Club


Crossfield Community Curling Club - Photo comliments of Moments by Marlene PhotograhyA prominent part of Crossfield's history is the Crossfield Curling Club. The present facility has been in use since 1965 and currently has 4 sheets of ice, a full kitchen, and a licensed lounge area upstairs. Leagues offered include ladies, men's, mixed, and juniors.

Collicutt Siding Golf Course


The Collicutt Siding Golf Course began development in 1994 and officially opened on August 27, 1995 as a 9-hole course. It is currently 18-holes with room to expand to 27. It has grass greens, a grass driving range, a licensed club house, and a full-time golf pro.

Crossfield Rodeo Grounds


Built in 1984, the Crossfield rodeo grounds include a race track and an infield with plenty of seating for spectators. It is also the home to the annual Pete Knight Days Rodeo held every June. A large building is also available to host various summer activities.

To rent the Rodeo Ground facilities contact the Town Office at 946-5565.

Crossfield Municipal Library

The Crossfield Municipal Library was established in 1979. Internet access is also available with 3 computers to use at no charge. The library also provides faxing and photocopying services for a minimal fee. Yearly memberships are available for $15.00 for the entire family.

Crossfield Golden Key Club


The Golden Key Club provides local senior citizens with a variety of year-round activities. For information on programs and services call 946-5152.

Crossfield Fishing Ponds


The Crossfield fishing ponds are located just west of the Rodeo Grounds, allowing for quick and easy access to recreational fishing. The ponds are stocked yearly by the Crossfield Agricultural Society.

Outdoor Skating Rink


Much like many small towns throughout Canada, Crossfield has an outdoor skating facility. It is conveniently located between the High School and the Pete Knight Arena making it easy for Crossfield youth to enjoy some outdoor winter activity.

Crossfield Churches


Visitors to Crossfield can participate in Church service at the Crossfield Baptist Church or the Crossfield United Church of Canada.

  • The Crossfield Baptist Church is located at 1420 Strathcona Street. (Corner of Limit Avenue and Strathcona Street). Services are held on Sundays - 1st Service is at 8:45 am, 2nd Service is at 11:00 am. Sunday school is held at 10:00 am.

  • The Crossfield United Church of Canada is located at 1005 Ross Street. (Corner of Railway Street and Ross Street). Service is held every Sunday beginning at 10:00 am. Sunday school is offered for children of all ages.
