2010 Municipal Census

The Town of Crossfield will be conducting a Municipal Census during the month of May, 2010.

This census is taken under the authority of the Municipal Government Act of the Province of Alberta.  The information collected in a Municipal Census is used by the Town for a variety of planning and program services, and by the Province for the determination of grants funding, if available.  

The Town of Crossfield will be offering all residents the opportunity to enter their Census information online.  Please watch for more information coming to your mailbox soon.

All information will be kept confidential and used only for statistical purposes.

PLEASE - We encourage all residents to participate in providing the required information, and we greatly appreciate your anticipated cooperation.

The Town of Crossfield is now accepting registrations for the March 13, 2010 Red Cross Babysitting Course.  This course is designed for ages 11 and up.

Many of you may not be aware that First Student Canada (formerly known as Cardinal Coach Lines Limited) runs a daily commuter service between Crossfield and downtown Calgary! Why not do your part for the environment and ride the bus. Relax, sleep, read and let us do the driving! We leave from the Pete Knight arena parking lot at 6:10 a.m. Monday to Friday and arrive in Calgary at our first stop at approximately 7:15 a.m. There are eight stops in the downtown core. Coming home from Calgary we leave from 1st St. and 7th Avenue S.W. at 4:40 p.m. and arrive back in Crossfield approximately 5:50 p.m. Costs of this service are listed below and are payable by debit or credit card upon boarding.
